Father's Day bags

Here is the fun bag we put the card into ;)  Ok I'll admit I struggled to figure out what to do for Father's Day.  As a teacher I have never taught in the summer and so I had to search for ideas.

Flower Planner 2004-2005

I'm getting back into the school mode and found all if my old lesson planners.  I thought I would share the covers, both for fun and for me to have a record of what I had done. I think this was my first planner I made. Later I'll share the insides :)

Celebrate

I LOVE Julie's card!  There is just something so fun about the bright colors and the miss match butterflies.  When I look at this card I can only imagine the possibilities!!!  This card could be used for any event.  Also the butterflies could be switched out for another shape and totally change the whole card ;)

Woohoo

This was Nicole's card.  She always likes to give us a challenge with her cards.  I always love crafting with her because it is fun to hear her passion for crafting come out in her explanation ;)  It's also fun to hear her say a million times how sorry she is that her card needs so much explanation!  to checkout her crafting click on her name and enjoy!  Thanks Nicole!!!

Trendy Dress Up

Thanks Jen for this oh so cute card!!!  It made me want to buy this framelit set!  This card used the Dress up framelit and built the colors behind the "cutout" of the dress.  It looks so cute and hard yet was not to hard and most was behind the card ;)

CLASS You Make Me Smile

The pink card below is the last of the card swap cards.  I revamped the card to make it into a unisex baby card fore my Arttisan class the other night.  Looking at both I liked how her string layed better than the hemp on my card ;(  I liked the layers on this card.  It is both simple and makes a statement.

CLASS Best Friend

I just loved Sarah's shoe box card (below).  I decided to use the base idea for a card for my class.  I did not bring my big shot to the class so I swapped out the die cut for the butterfly punches.  To simplify the card for my group I also left off the twine and button.  Though in the end I really missed them on my card.  Thanks Sarah for the great card idea!!!

CLASS Artisian Birthday

Here is my shoe box card. It was a bit challenging to get the pieces to fit. The one I cased off line I think used a larger background card. But if you copy the punch directions from this card you have it made :)  Below the first picture I put both options I gave people to make.  Some liked the matching background color better for the stamp than the cream that matched the diagonal line.

Cutest Baby

Below is a card from our card swap.  I wanted to make it a little more girly so I made a few changes to the original card.  I embossed the label to add a little more texture and changed the pearl out for a jewel.  What girl does not like a little blig?!?!?!  We will start them off early I guess with this card.

For You

This card was made by Niki.  Though she said she did not have lots of mojo on the day she made it I think it has many fun elements!  I love how the doily and tan make it look old and country.  There is always something fun about the embossing folders.  My favorite element is how she made the paper look like ribbon with the folds in it.  As much as I love ribbon it is hard to get it to keep its shape.  Paper on the other hand tends to hold its folds much better ;)  Great card Niki.

Happy Birthday to You

Here is another card from our card swap :). I am not sure who made this card but I wanted to share it because I loved the fun elements on this card. The tan and coral stamps give the card a pop. Now the bling. What girl does not like bling?  I love how it just adds a little shine :). Great card with so many possibilities ;)

Oh Hello

Here is another card swap.  Again I am not sure who designed this card but I so want to case it ;)  My favorite thing on the card is the embossed vellum in the background.  It hives it such a different look.  As much as I have used vellum, I never would have thought about using an embossing folder with it!  The design gives the card so much texture.   I also love how she used the paper to look like ribbon!!!
