Prayer Event

What a blessing this event was for me! Both that I am done with the project and second that the speaker was exactly who God wanted to fill that spot. With both laughter and tears many walked away touched!

Prayer Drinks

Themes are my thing!  There is something fun about attending an event where EVERYTHING matches!!!  So I decided to make tags for the drinks.  Our coffee pots at church are labeled but they are older and so don't match.  This is what I started with.  Then I used my framelits to cut them out.  I have yellow ribbon to attach them to the dispensers the day of the event!

Prayer Food

I had a few Small Groups vollenteer to help with food for the event.  To make sure that we had enough and I did not get midnight phone calls I typed out the information.  Of course I HAD to make it match the event.  I know I am crazy, but it has been to fun to see if I could stay with the theme all the way through!

P.S. If you ever need to make an egg bake this is a simple recipe.  Better yet you can make it the day before and reheat it i the morning!!!

Prayer Name Tag

I will be the first to admit that I am NOT a name tag person at all!  So I wanted something special and different!!!  I think this is it!  I took the main flower and attached it to a green sponged address label.  I figured that the labels would stick and no pin or lanyard would be needed (because they make name tags even worse to wear) ;)

Prayer Journal

This project is my pride and joy!  When I said I would design and assemble the journals I did not have 160 in mind.  Each person gets a journal at their seat and then we will sell the extras.  When I started I just fell in love with this layout.  It started with the flower (that is everywhere) and then expanded.  I did not like the flower in the center or along in the corner.  After playing a lot I realized this would be the PERFECT place to place the verse from the speaker.    The only thing I learned is that they were hard to store until the event.  If you box them wrong the flowers and pennants get squished ;(  So 2 cut boxes later they are packed and ready to go!

Prayer Banner

I just have to say I was not sure what I wanted to do for a themed banner.  I started with the flowers and the green.  I was not sure what colors to make the letters, but I thought blue would look bold.  I was right!  You could see the writing from across the room!  I wanted to add something so I added the butterflies and I am so glad I did!

Prayer Sock Banner

Today I am sharing a banner.  We are asking for a donation of socks for our event so I thought a banner would be fitting to remind people as they purchased their tickets each week.  It is simple but in my opinion made my basket a bit more fun, and stand out for sure.

Prayer Tickets

Today was our last day of sales for the Women's Event!  I took the same background and flower banner from the invite to create the tickets.  If you look really closely you will notice that the event place is different.  Right after I printed all of the tickets the church changed the name to Fellowship Hall . . . OOPS!  I did have to revise the flier, but I did not want to waste the color printed tickets so thus the difference in the "room" names ;)

Prayer Invite

This weekend is our Women's Ministry event at church.  I have worked hard and had fun as I created elements of the event in a matching form ;)  This week I will be sharing all of the fun pieces of the event with you.  Some are MDS format, some Paper Crafting and others are a blend of the two.  Today I  am going to share with you the Invite that I created on MDS.  This invite created the color and patter theme for the whole event so I can't wait to show you the rest ;)
