Bee Flowers

I love the spring feel of these flowers!  They make me want to go outside and play!  We will put a few of these in vases around the party for decorations.  They are all a little different but that is what makes them fun. (Just a note, when I cut out the Rosette I had to cut them into 1 1/2 strips in order to make a complete rosette.  If you do not cut them they will not bend into a flower ;(

Bee Banner

Here is the first banner.  The second is a surprise for party day ;)  We wanted something to tie the favors to the flowers and invite so this is what I came up with.  I am not sure if you can tell but the pennants are embossed with the honeycomb folder too ;)  The best part is the banner was such a hit that she used the banner in her 1 year pictures!!!!  It was so cute!

Rosette Boxes

I know Christmas is over but after looking at pictures of some of my Christmas boxes I thought these would be cute for Valentines Day too!  I had so much fun making all of my "bows" this year, so I thought I would share ;)

Fun with Bows

I had so much fun making my own bows this year! It was a new adventure, but oh so fun!  They worked great and easy to pack and move to my parents on Christmas Day without getting there with a bunch of smashed bows :)

Fall Flowers

I love this die cut!  I have used it for so many things lately.  I liked my fall wreath so much that I thought a few vases of theses flowers would be fun around the house after Halloween.  I made the rosettes 1 1/2" and 2" from the original die cut.  I glued them onto skewers (found out the market) to make them strong.  I thought about painting the skewers like I did for Halloween but I thought that the natural went well with the paper.  I had a bunch of scraps from the die cut so I cut and folded them into the vase to hold the skewers.  The ribbon fell right as I took the picture (go figure) but it should be in the center of the vase ;)  The best part is they will never die!!!

Halloween Wreath

I had so much fun making this wreath!  I used a multitude of Halloween colored papers and created this fun wreath.  I cut the large die strips in smaller pieces.  This helped to create the different sizes in the rosettes.  I cant wait to make another one for the next holiday!!!!!

Halloween Flowers

On Saturday i am teaching a wreath class. I had extra rosettes so I wanted to do something with them. For one of my bridal showers a friend put black and white paper in the vases and filled them with punk and white daisies. So today I took the flowers out of the case and I filled it with the leftover rosettes attached to a stick. I made the flowers using the SU! rosette die :)

She's Having Little Lady

The theme of Cyndee's baby shower was "She's Having a Little Lady". So I thought that the ladybugs should be on everything! In the center is the invite. Inside is the information for the shower. On the right was the favor. This paper tube holds mini chocolate bars. In the center is the decoration from the flower pots. Inside the pot I had a few of the ladybugs attached to black wire to make them float with the flowers. I had so much fun! Thank you Cyndee for letting me play with the theme ;)
