My Wedding Shower Favor

Part of the fun of going to a shower you did not plan is seeing the fun shower favors people come up with.  This favor was made by my old roommate Andrea for my Fresno shower.  I have to say to a normal bride the favors were cute and crafty.  For me they were amazing!!!  She not only kept the colors for the wedding, but went a step further and added my "C" from the invites.  It was so fun to get there and see this cute little purse filled with chocolate.  I had to take the extras home and give them to my crafty friends who could not wait to try to make one for themselves :)  Thanks Andrea!!!

Back Pack Purse

This is a fun way to celebrate the first week back to school!  I had so much fun with this little purse.  I choose the colors because it would work for both boys and girls.  I attached the yellow pockets and red dot first and then let the purse dry fully so they did not slide around.  Then I assembled the purse.  It is perfect for a little note or even a special treat!!!

Nicole's favor

I started by using my Big Shot to cut out the Purse die.  It cuts a handle and a purse in one cut.  Then you simply assemble the purse by adhering the tabs on each side to the purse.  Then I used the small scallop to cut out the red scallop.  Once the main part of the purse was done I stamped the "desserts" stamp onto a white piece of paper and colored the cherry.  Then I proceeded to cut it out using the 1 3/8" circle punch.  I attached it with a dimensional to help it stand out on the purse.

Nicole's Purse

This is the first version of my Zebra Purse!  I loved it but, the only problem is that the paper was a little thin.  When I filled the purses they were not as stiff as the second one I made.  With this one I glued the black on the front of the purse and the jewel before I assembled the purse.  This way it was solid and dry before it sits up as a purse.  Again the thin material made it hard for the purses to stay closed because the top was sturdy and wanted to pop out.
For fun I made the "love" tag.  I figured it was fitting for a wedding favor :)

Thanks So Much Purse

This is just my simple thanks purse.  I cut the purse out of pink with the Big Shot and adhered the tabs and the handle.  Then I stamped the large heart from the P.S. I Love You stamp set.  I know this set is retired but I just love it!!!  Then I attached a tag stamped with "Thanks so Much" using a heart shaped brad.  It works with a round brad, but the heart shaped on just gave it a different look.

4 You Purse

What a fast few days I have had in Fresno!  I got to see some good friends and do a little Scrapbooking too!  This is one of the purses from my purse party ;)  It is a fun candy or gift card box for any party!  I used my Big Shot to cut out a green purse.  Then I sent it through the Big Shot again in the polka dot folder.  I felt this softened it up a little with the bright green.  Then I stamped one of the tags from the Tagtastic stamps in pink.  I punched it out using the XL Curly Label.  I topped off the label with a stamp from Tiny Tags and a bow on the side ;)  Happy Craftin'!

All Swirls

Oh how I  love this paper!  I first used it to make my friend Megan's baby shower invite and favor (which I will post soon!).  If you had a large stamp with a pattern you could easily make your own purse pattern as well!  I started by using my big shot to cut out the purse.  Then i glued the two tabs and the handle onto the purse.  After that it was SIMPLE!  I wanted a little red so I used the small scalloped circle to cut out the red.  From the left over patterned paper I added a 1 3/8"circle to match the backing of the purse.  Just to add a little shine I added a black jewel to the center!  Again I love the colors and cant wait to make another purse!  So far my favorite die!
