New School Planner

There is just something fun about butterflies!  After the birthday party I was inspired to use butterflies on my school planner for the year!!!  The only sad thing is 2 weeks after I made and laminated this lesson plan cover I was moved to Kindergarten.  I decided I liked my cover so much I would just have to make the "transitional" wording work for this year.  Look what happens to those who try to get ahead of the game ;(

I'm getting back into the school mode and found all if my old lesson planners.  I thought I would share the covers, both for fun and for me to have a record of what I had done. I think this was my first planner I made. Later I'll share the insides :)

Summer Lesson Planner

I am starting to work on a summer preparation class for next years Kindergarteners. I wanted to make the book sturdy like my planners in the past so I came up with this simple design. On the inside it is just a simple weekly chart. I bind it on the left hand side so I can have the book open on my desk to the full week or fold it over on my lap to look at just the morning or afternoon.

Back Pack Purse

This is a fun way to celebrate the first week back to school!  I had so much fun with this little purse.  I choose the colors because it would work for both boys and girls.  I attached the yellow pockets and red dot first and then let the purse dry fully so they did not slide around.  Then I assembled the purse.  It is perfect for a little note or even a special treat!!!

New Arrival

Every year I order caterpillars for my class!  I have to say there is something about having them in the classroom!  It is like a little bit of the outdoors inside.  After putting all of them in their own containers, I gave the kids a chance to name them.  Let me just say I was amazed at the names they came up with.  You have to check them out for a good laugh (or two)!  I will post pictures along the way so that you can have a little nature on your computer too!
